Amdaris, a British firm specializing in software development, strategic consultancy, and support services, has opened its second Romanian business center in Bucharest, making it the company's seventh global site.

In addition to its headquarters in the United Kingdom, the company, formed in 2009 by Vlad Nanu and Andy Rogers, has distribution facilities in Bulgaria, Ukraine, Romania, Moldova, and Dubai. Amdaris Romania now employs 250 people, 200 in Timișoara and 50 in Bucharest, with plans to more than double the team in the Romanian capital by the end of 2023.

Amdaris has announced 94% revenue growth in 2022, increasing the number of employees internationally and attaining 90% average revenue per customer growth, cementing its position as one of Europe's fastest-growing IT businesses.

Mara Pop, who oversees the Bucharest center, has extensive experience in operational management and strategic company growth with a focus on the healthcare, software development, and telecommunications sectors. Together with Anna Grier, the Timișoara center director, Mara Pop's employment in this role keeps the Amdaris Romania management team's gender representation at 100% female. Additionally, there are 50% more women on the nation's project management team than men. With 65% of women managing business management and 44% of women in project management, Amdaris is delighted to have opened doors for women in technology.

The Bucharest office is a strategic location for Amdaris. Due to its regional positioning and other socio-economic factors, this center will become a hub and serve as one of the main meeting spots with customers and colleagues from the other centers.

The location of the new Amdaris office in Bucharest is meant to answer and solve common employee issues. The office arrangement will consider the particularities of individual and team processes, it will be optimized for a smooth transition between the different dedicated areas of the office, and will facilitate collaborative spaces that support teamwork.
